A rafting expedition on the world-class white water of the Coruh River. Fed by snow-melt from the Eastern Black Sea Mountains in north-east Turkey, the Coruh flows through spectacular canyons and narrow, fertile valleys of orchards and tiny paddy fields, past ancient ruined castles, all set against a backdrop of magnificent rugged mountains. The area is virtually untouched by tourism and is fairly remote even by Turkish standards, giving us a rare opportunity to experience the beautiful natural landscape and the traditional life of the incredibly friendly and hospitable local villagers.
