We ran a number of rivers here 10 years ago and we came to the conclusion the Ahansal is by far the best river in this magical country. Take this in combination with a visit to the spectacular Cascade D'Ouzoud, this trip makes the perfect adventure experience.

Set in the magnificent Middle Atlas mountain range the river Ahansal gushes fresh from the rocks and runs deep through dramatic river gorges. You'll feel like you are starring in a movie. And the beauty of this river trip, is that all the family can enjoy the experience and have a real adventure together, in this remote, intoxicating location. It is the perfect antidote to those winter blues, the weather is warm and the scenery is stunning. Morocco will delight you in so many ways.

Itinerary & Highlights

Day One.
Arrive into Marrakech and check into your Riad. The rest of the day is for your leisure to enjoy this great city.
(No meals included)

Day Two.
Pick up outside your Riad in Marrakech at 09:00 hrs. Drive to The Casacdes d'Ouzod for Lunch and time to few the falls. Drive to the river and enjoy spectacular views and a sumptuous meal.

Day Three.
Enjoy a wholesome breakfast. We go through the important safet and paddle instructions before heading downstream for world-class scenery and rapids. We take in a riverside lunch. More rapids in the afternoon before we arrive at "Mill Camp." Our local team have provided snacks and dinner while you enjoy the beauty of this area.

Day Four.
After breakfast we take on some of the best white water of the trip. The last two gorges on the river will astound you. 100 metres straight up to clear blue sky. We are collected by motor boat, enjoy a floating lunch whilst we are towed across Bin El Ouidane. Transfer back to Marrakech by our private minibus.

Accommodation & Centre Details

You will stay in a traditional Moroccan Riad in Marrakech on night one and four of the trip.
On the river, you will stay in Berber Tents with thermorest mattresses.
