• Transfers to and from Erzurum Airport.
• Accommodation the night the river trip ends in a tourist hotel.
• Tented accommodation whilst on the river.
• All meals from lunch on Day One to lunch on Day Six.
• All rafting equipment, including the best in buoyancy aids, helmets, wetsuits and spray jackets.
• All camping equipment including thermarest style mattresses and chairs.
• Qualified and experienced guides and safety kayakers.

Price Excludes

• Not included are flights, visas, departure taxes, travel insurance, inoculations, sleeping bags, video or dvd of your trip, alcohol, personal items or gratuities. You will also need to budget for meals in town which are not included in the price and any extra accommodation outside what is provided. Extensions available trekking in the Kackar Mountains. We are able to arrange hotels and transfers in Istanbul.

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrive in Erzurum and take a ride over gorgeous mountain passes to Maden on the banks of the Coruh. Overnight camp by the river.
Included: Lunch and dinner

Day 2
We give you a comprehensive safety briefing. We then begin to practice some of the paddles strokes and maneuvers required to tackle the forth coming rapids of the Coruh. The first day is flat water with a few rapids to test out our newly learnt skills.

Day 3
Amazing rapids today! The Bitch, Alexis, Dynasty and the Stud! Rollercoaster special with Mile Long! We sit down over sundowners and chat about the excellent day!

Day 4
As well as some great rapids today, such as Perfect Portage, and Petrakale, we get the chance to walk up to an ancient Byzantine castle amidst stunning views of the river and enjoy lunch! Tonight we stay at Cemils... the ex mayor of Tekkale, our destination for this evening.

Day 5
A different river today... a blast down the Barhal! Finish up by climbing out of the raft up a ladder and into a bar! Afternoon at leisure around Yusufeli... chance for a shave lads!

Day 6
Today is one of the best whitewater runs anywhere in the world, the legendary Yusufeli Gorge! We drive back through the Tortem gorges to Erzurum and a hammam and post trip meal together.

Day 7
After Breakfast at our Hotel, we make our way to the airport to make our onward journey home or for a few days R & R in Istanbul.
