Shoot The Rapids Weekend

All White Water Rafting takes place at a specially designed sports centre just outside Nottingham. Upon arrival, the instructors will introduce you to the course and the fundamentals and safety aspects to be adhered to.

Please make sure you are well prepared for your rafting experience.

In the evening once you have your feet firmly back on the ground it's time for a party with VIP entry to one of Nottingham's favourite venues.

Itinerary / Highlights

Day 2 - White Water Rafting
A man made course fed from the river Trent. Total length is 500m, running at grade 2/3 on a scale of 1 to 6. Benefits from being one of the largest water volume courses in the UK with an average of 20 cubic meters per second of water flowing through the course

All White Water Rafting takes place at a specially designed sports centre just outside Nottingham. Upon arrival, the instructors will introduce you to the course and the fundamentals and safety aspects to be adhered to.

Please make sure you are well prepared for your rafting experience - ie. swimsuit for under your wetsuit (There is a £5 Hire Charge for your wetsuit payable on the day) and maybe a waterproof jacket to wear over your wetsuit for extra protection. The rafting guide will make the ride as exhilarating or as gentle as each group requests. The slalom course is regarded as user friendly. It is entirely artificial whilst resembling a real river in all respects. Rafting starts from the beginning of March to the end of November.

There is a weight limit of 16.5 stone
